Dear beauty, pure, Divine.
My Queen of sweet desire.
Aglow art Thee, ablaze, Thy might,
Thy rays, by angels fired.

So fine, Thee diamond star, sublime,
The brightest one could see.
Amazed, I'm dazed, by all Thy ways,
In love, I'm sworn to Thee.

Thoughts drift, on clouds, before me.
a storm, in dream, erupts.
All I see, a wall of sea,
a swell, my passion in flood.

My boat, my light, my rudder,
my sail, my wind, my star.
My guide, my sun, eternal, my lover,
my Venus, forever Thou art.

FOREVER'S PSALM

I gazed a moment, yonder far, amazed in wonder, upon a star, a light so bright, the skies ablazed, a sight for all prized eyes to praise. I looked about, and there, in glory, the clouds in chorus, sung their story, "How great the light that's raised above, that might eternal, praised by love." Then way off side, I caught in glancing, that nightly ride of dream enchanting, the moon at dance, with grace, entranced, the skies display, by love enhanced. Upon her surface, divine that glow, displayed for every soul to know, from love's creation, her beauty song, for every eye to ponder on. And as I turned to walk away, an angel crossed my path to say, "The chorus of forever's psalm, for God, I lay upon your palm." And in that moments gaze, was lifted, every doubt of what God gifted me, and suddenly I sung, a brand new song had just begun. And time again became my musing, on this new path which God was choosing, and with times ticking, silence came, to issue me...

WHEN I TRIED TO FIGHT THE SKY

I can't fly, as much as I may try, to spread my wings wide, and fly, I can't fly! Whilst I may try, to spread my wings and fly, I'll soon find out why, I can't fly! When I fall from the sky, in my attempts to try, to fly, like a bird, high, I'll know, I can't fly! I'll soon find out why, when I fall from the sky, why I cannot fly, even though I still may try! But one day I will fly, way up in that sky, even though I will not try, my Lord will call me high.
