MOONLIGHT CASANOVA

I cannot help, but build myself
a cage, to hide within.
As all around, stars fall down,
their lights eternal, dim.

I cannot help, but hear the wind,
verse their passing by.
An orchestra of wings, sings,
their angelic lullaby.

I too know, I'll fly one day,
I'll capture that same breeze.
Those chapters in the leaves, that sway,
in the wind between the trees.

And in my darkest hour of night,
I'll hear when Christ is calling.
To show that beauty, sparkled bright,
of stars when they are falling.

And moonlight serenading plays,
when I'm feeling blue.
To show the beauty of the greys,
when by grace, they're painted new.

And when the darkness comes to prey,
morn springs a fresh new sun.
A fresh new day, dawns gold displays,
to show that light has won!
